Educator SHINING

SHINING has been in the nail industry since 2008, specializing in Japanese style nail art and techniques, particularly cartoon and anime art. She has developed her own unique artistic style and is known for her dreamy, soft cartoon creations and cute designs. Apart from freehand nail art, she also creates embossed and 3D acrylic designs in beautiful detail and perfect proportions.

SHINING received her foundational training in Taiwan and continued to hone her techniques over the years under the tutelage of top educators in Singapore, Taiwan and Japan, focusing on freehand art and embossed/3D art. She was also certified a Salon Hygiene Manager by the Japan Nail Association in 2017.

A nail industry veteran, SHINING runs a private nail salon catering to a pool of regular customers. Her sincerity and meticulous care for her clients’ nails have helped to build up a following of loyal customers who trust that she will always do her best. When it comes to teaching, SHINING is patient and takes great care to guide her students systematically and in detail, ensuring that they master basic skills before moving on to more advanced techniques.
