3D Art Seminar

While embossed and 3D art can also be made with acrylic powder and monomer, using the acrylic mixture method can be more costly, challenging, and also uncomfortable or unpleasant due to the smell of the monomer. Some customers or nailists may also be sensitive to the smell and suffer from side effects such as nausea or headache. Using gel and 3D powder to create the same artwork creates a more pleasant experience without any smell, and is also easier for beginners as they do not have to work against time, since the gel mixture only cures in UV/LED.

This is a multi-level class suitable for nail artists who are new to embossed/3D art or using 3D powder. A total of three designs with varying difficulty will be taught.

• How to mix the right ratio of gel to 3D powder to create different types of embossed and 3D art
  
• How to shape your 3D gel mixture to create a ribbon design inlaid with extra ingredients such as dried flowers and glitter
  
• How to analyse cartoon proportions and shapes to create accurate 3D cartoon characters (2 designs will be used as examples)
  
• How to create a textured effect for cartoon characters (eg. Duffy/Shellie May)
  
• How to paint details with gel to enhance 3D character art
  
• How to pre-make your 3D character art in advance so that they can fit your customers’ nails well and save time
  
• How to store your 3D gel mixture for future use
