Advanced Manicure Preparation & E-File Course


COURSE INTRODUCTION

This class is our answer to the common problems that nailists face when carrying out manicure preparation steps and utilizing the e-file.

Nailists usually begin their nail education with lots of theory, but theory alone will not fully prepare you for the real world. In the course of your career, you will work with different nail and skin types and face problems serving customers with different needs.

With many nailists working alone in private home-based salons, it is common to stagnate or face slow growth, compared to nailists who are guided by more experienced and skilled mentors. If you are an experienced nailist feeling lost or stagnant, you can now tap on the experience of our Principal Educator Ying.

With over a decade of extensive salon experience and having done thousands of sets of nails, Ying will guide you to overcome the problems that you are facing in manicure preparation.

NO COURSE KIT INCLUDED - Students will be required to bring their own materials for shaping, cuticle care and product removal with e-file and bits.

COURSE CONTENT

  • Problems commonly faced when carrying out product removal, shaping, cuticle care, and preparation of the nail plate.
  • Problems commonly faced when using the e-file for product removal and cuticle care.
  • Solution: using the right techniques and tools for each customer's unique needs (different skin, cuticle and nail conditions).
  • Maximizing profit and retaining customers by improving the quality of your manicure preparation, creating professional results efficiently and safely while ensuring a comfortable, enjoyable customer experience.

 

COURSE DURATION

7 hours inclusive of 1 hour break

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Beginners will NOT be allowed to register, as this class will not be teaching from scratch but will be correcting student's existing problems.

Suitable for students who have experience with using e-file for both cuticle care and product removal.

If you have been using the e-file for cuticle prep and product removal, and practiced on quite a few people or done some customer but find that your work needs improvement, or you're struggling with shaping or experiencing e-file usage problems like causing damage to skin/nails or customers finding it hot or uncomfortable when you use the e-file, this class is for you!
